How many in the former (thank God) Bush Administration have gone on to jobs as lobbyists?

I think something like 75%. And we are talking about people fully aware of the lies that Bush/Cheney used to start the Iraq war. They knew the *** and just played along.

Yea, I hate lobbyists. They work in government long enough to make "friendships" that benefit them later.

Default Oh ye of little faith

Let those without sin cast the first stone. Im sure the messiah has forgiven them for there oversight, or error of judgement. now they will be better informed to serve the masses. they will lead, or control us all that much better. If you dont except that, maybe its politics as usual. this country is in for a BIG change alright. just not as good as they think.

Another comparison to Bush. Why would you want to compare Obama's adminstration to someone you held in such low esteem? Wouldn't you want to raise the bar a little higher?

It does seem that Obama has broken his promise to transcend traditional politics and not to hire any lobbyists. Perhaps this is necessary in Washington, but it does lead to some credibility issues about Obama being a man of his word. It is disappointing.

If this is the worst of your disappointments, you are blessed, my son, you are blessed.

Didn't say anything about it being the worst of my disappointments, just that I'm disappointed he couldn't keep one of his key campaign promises.

This is splitting hairs, but Daschle was not registered as a lobbyist, according to a story I heard on NPR tonight.

I agree. It's amazing how those walking around with blinders on for the past 8 years have now decided to view things through a microscope.
