Certainly nobody in this forum knows what the truth is. It's likely none of us will ever know. This issue is just a diversion from the central question of water boarding, and serves no purpose other than political. We certainly don't need more of that.

For partisan sheep the issue is focused on the Bush administration. For those who want a better government, not full of corruption, what Nancy does along with most of the gang in DC is the issue.

If your wife or young daughter were targets of Al Qaeda, not specifically, but as part of a mass murder on American soil, "Would feel that it was more important to give killers that opportunity"? Because we don't want to do unpleasant things to folks who have no respect for human life, and actually are tasked with the mission of killing Americans.
Or would you try to avert their murderous efforts? Ahead of time if possible?
