There needs to be no explanation for primary turnouts because they're usually low. And again, it's MAY. What does MAY have to do with enthusiam and turnout in November? NOTHING.
Keep in mind the 10-12 million new Dems when the latest amnesty -- I mean, "Immigration Reform" bill -- passes.

Dems given up on Nov, not hardly. This summer and fall will see an inundation of talk about Dem progress and successes. Look for a lot of clearing up of Health Care misinformation and talk about the benefits of the Law, as real implementation takes effect. Couple that with continued GOP stalling tactics, avoiding action on Immigration, etc...well, you draw your own conclusions as to whether the Dems have given up on Nov.
