my favorite are two I paid money to see and would do so again: Lewis Black and Sinbad. Both so different yet so hilarous. Lewis Black does use profanity,which doesn't bother me at all and he's so knowledgeable about so many topics. He is indeed the angry comedian. I laughed until my sides and throat hurt. The other end of the spectrum is Sinbad. No bad language and so so very funny. He seemed to ad lib a lot and the results were again side splitting laughter. I would love to see Kathy Griffen. Her show cracks me up.
Stephen Wright. I like deadpan humor. I also "get" a lot of British humor, the "dry" stuff.
I would have to say the blue collar comedie guys are. larry bill jeff and tater. LOL
