Being from Boston I like to see locals with talent succeed in their careers (Jay Leno, Athony Michael Hall, etc.). But I have to say...I think Dane Cook is just awful. I'm bored with his routine within the first 2 minutes because he is not funny at all. He tells ridiculous stories that have no element of humor at all and yet people love the guy. I just don't get it. In all honesty, what makes this guy even remotely funny?
To each his own, I like him....wouldn't pay to see him but hae has made me laugh with his off beat rudeness. For me.....Adam Sandler.......just not funny to me and every body loves him. Again, to each their own
I don't mind him as an actor at all. But I don't understand why people would pay to go hear some guy talk about random crap that isn't even funny. I tried watching him last night and people in the audience laugh when he says hello. What's the deal with that? I'm starting to think his fans are just crazy people who don't know what funny is.

Reason: misspelling
I think he's been a good actor actor but with stand-up he dives.
I have tried to watch his specials but the first 5 minutes I turn it off.
He has quite a following but I don't get his humor so............I don't watch him.
HAHA!! You last 5 minutes? I give you credit. Usually after 2 minutes I've had enough. I just don't understand how a guy who isn't funny has such a following. I mean these people laugh even when he isn't speaking. Go figure.
i can't stand him. I like stupid comedy but he's soo stupid, it ain't funny.
