Can anyone give an opinion about this area and about southeastern Eugene in terms of safety, the market, outdoor or social activities?

This is a nice area in Eugene. Prices continue to fall throughout the area. I'm a Realtor.

There are a lot of bicyclists use the bike trail that is at the end of the road. It's a well used path! It's the Rexius trail. If you have anymore questions, email me. Good luck!!

Does anyone know what the job market nearby is like?

The Fox Hollow area is probably the most quiet, safe part of Eugene and arguably has the best access to outdoor activities. However, shopping is more expensive on the south side of town and the job market is absolutely terrible.

Is Fox Hollow the area I always call Moon Mountain? Kind over on the west side of the Hendrick's park area? What are the main intersections in the Fox Hollow area?

NVM - just looked it up! Love the Fox Hollow area. It's south of Hendrick's park... if you can find a place in that area that is within your budget I'd go for it. Great part of town.

The funny thing about Eugene is that it only takes 15 minutes to get anywhere. Locals complain about having to drive "across town" but for others like me who are from larger cities... Eugene is so small it's really not a big deal to spend 15 minutes in your car getting from home to work or whatever.

Jobs? Whatevs.
