Those Germanics described by Tacitus are not in Germania anymore, they moved south with the large invasions. Their descendants can be found in the former western Roman empire, their genetic imprint is insignificant because they were very few compared with the population of the Roman Empire (100 million versus 2 to 3 millions).

The vacant lands left by Germanics were occupied by people farther to the east and north, Slavs and Jutlandic, and by Slavs in the homeland of Ostrogoths, Ukraine.

And yet, the "Germanics" are the ones with the power and ambition, whereas the "Latins" do their siesta 24/7.

TOP 10 of countries with highest development index

  1. Norway 0.955 ()
  2. Australia 0.938 ()
  3. United States 0.937 ( 1)
  4. Netherlands 0.921 ( 1)
  5. Germany 0.920 ( 4)
  6. New Zealand 0.919 ( 1)
  7. Ireland 0.916 ()
  8. Sweden 0.916 ( 3)
  9. Switzerland 0.913 ( 2)
  10. Japan 0.912 ( 2)

5 of those are "Germanic" by culture, 3 others (USA; AUS/NZ) can be partly considered "Germanic".
Instead of resisting on ooooold, ancient and false stereotypes you should concentrate on the present situation.

The French have always been considered sissy and traitorous by most other Europeans. Nevertheless, France is appreciated as a great European nation. So what?

But at least they shave their facial hair and armpits. One thing you can't be sure about regarding "Latin" women. IMHO.
