Well, this is not the worst lyric. It has a good size (which is not typical of Russian rap, see, for example, Husky), the lyric is simple, but without serious flaws, and some of the rhymes are interesting (compound rhymes from different parts of speech: noun+pronoun/verb, pronoun/adjective, verb/pronoun etc.):
красавец я/улыбаются
со мной/шальной
сумерек/бумере
Прокати/по пути
I think Vysotsky was the key figure. Perhaps he was not the best Russian poet of the second half of the 20th century, but he accurately determined the development of Russian music for several generations of musicians to come. And Morgenshtern appeared only 40 years after his death.
