Sorry I just have to wonder what other countries think about the U.S. now with all the protesters about the ferguson case.

Every country revolves around itself, not around the US. People in Europe don't really care whether or not Americans shoot each other. They may shake their heads about those headlines and that's it. After all, shootings and race riots seem to be normal in the US, every couple of months another school shooting, every couple of years another race riot...

I heard about this as young Black man I felt very angry, my opinion hasn't changed of the USA. Race riots happen both sides of the Atlantic ocean with tensions high both sides of the pond too. The riots were very similar to the ones we had here in August of 2011 (young black man killed by a police officer in Tottenham, London) though that descended into a general ''I'm fed up of the establishment'' riots..

Britain is probably the only country in Europe where race riots might occur. In most others there simply are too few non-white people.

Not so here in Portugal. In their attempt to appear global and to fill their slots, some media try to force such irrelevant news from the US or Asia on European people, but those don't care because it doesn't affect them in any way.

I know but the BBC news is heavily American orientated and so is Sky, it is owned by Fox.

Sky News - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Don't get me wrong, such headlines can be found on newspapers here as well, but they are not featured, Ferguson is just one news item among many. People here care much more about the arrest of the former prime minister than about some police shootings, or anything else for that matter, happening far away in some other country.

Here is the homepage of the leading Portuguese newspaper:
