Wouldn't be surprised if that area were 10-15% Muslim.

Are ethnic groups really that geographically isolated from one another there? No integrated schools? What initiatives are there to help immigrants pursue jobs outside of menial ones?
It's getting better. They have a good shopping centre with cafés, bakeries and bars, and there is usually a playground on the inner yard of the blocks. Schools too, but some are up to 75% immigrant. It's not a very nice or popular area, but it's relatively safe and people usually get along nicely. No racial tension or anything, but there is a lot of poverty and unemployment. And due to that alcoholism and drug abuse.

1st generation immigrants are usually bus and taxi drivers, shop clerks, restaurant keepers or on construction sites. 2nd generation immigrants are much better off, many going to get a higher education.

In reality immigrants settle in neighbourhoods where rent is lower. That means it's usually neighbourhoods with high rise blocks dating to the 50 or 60 or inner place neighbourhoods untouched by gentrification. These are and were working class neighbourhoods.

That's not true at all, the people who usually speak well of immigration here in Italy usually point out to Albanians and Romanians as the model to follow in terms of integration for other ethnicities

These things are dangerous because not efficient, pepperspray and certain knifes are the only effective legal weapons one is allowed to carry in Germany; while you can possess firearms when you're in a shooting club, as a normal person you will by no means get a carry licence. All you can get is a carry licence for blank guns that are less effective than pepperspray, it's ridiculous that you even need a carry licence for them.
