In the Nordic countries, all legal residents have an address and identification number attached to their names. If Ole Larsen leaves Denmark to take a job in NYC he is considered an out-migrant.

National Document of Identity, Americans don't because it was considered authoritarian and absolutist by founding fathers. They use their driver's licence or their SSN.

The only Danish I have met in the US were retired people or sun worshippers. There are many "Danish Pastries" but no Danish in them. Pastries were far too sugary.

Jews are leaving France in record numbers amid rising anti-Semitism and fears of more Isis-inspired terror attacks | Europe | News | The Independent

There is so much flight from France that it is the largest mass movement of Jews anywhere on the planet since the establishment of the Israeli state.

Nobody takes English tabloids seriously, they are as serious as the National Enquirer.
Certain Jewish Media and certain Rabbies are fearmongering experts, as more fear more people flock to the congregation.
As more svastikas appear in some sinagoge in New York, probably painted by somebody with shylocks, more "nazis" lurking everywhere.
According to them, Europe is a place packed with little Mengeles and Torquemada is still alive.

Are ethnic groups really that geographically isolated from one another there? No integrated schools? What initiatives are there to help immigrants pursue jobs outside of menial ones?

Are you referring to the photos from Ariete?
Are you able to judge the rate of activity, the density of playgrounds and community facilities based on a few photos? Such photos you could also take in many larger German cities. But there are of course a lot of playgrounds and community facilities.
In Düsseldorf we have the city district Garath, that looks very similar to the photos from Ariete. The percentage of people in Garath with a migration background was about 40% in 2010. It was about 35% for the whole of Düsseldorf. Garath has about 18,000 residents, and 28 public playgrounds (451 playgrounds in Düsseldorf as a whole).
You can see that it's really not a wealthy city district, but the center is always very busy. It's not a problem to live there. It's not a dangerous place. And of course the "immigrants" get in contact to the "locals". Already in 2010 the majority of those unter 18 in Düsseldorf had a migration background. It's absurd to think that Germans or immigrants will stay among themselves. In most cases it's not possible to identify, whether someone is "genuine" German, a German with a migration background or a foreigner.

This are only expectations, the numbers can easily multiply, but it seems as the neighboring countries are closing their borders, Germany has no influence on that.

If neighboring countries close their borders than there are two scenarios. The migrants get stuck in Greece or Merkel decides to take in more directly from Greece.

They let the borders open for those who want to go to Germany, it was decided that they directly travel now from Macedonia to Germany by train.

"On Friday’s Breitbart News Daily radio program, heard on the Sirius-XM Patriot Channel, Trump said, “When you look at Europe, I have friends that live in Germany, they’re leaving. I have friends that are leaving Germany because of what’s happened.” Trump was discussing Merkel’s policy of allowing thousands of unvetted Muslim refugees to come into the country."

"While eating at a sandwich shop today, I overheard an older gentleman talking about how he expects many "Europeans with money" to move / emigrate to the USA to escape the downfall of western Europe. If true, this would benefit the US, since these successful europeans have class and know how to act properly; but it really would leave Europe to fail. After engaging with him for a short conversation, he told me that he thought that the U.S. would benefit through the idiotic behavior of the european leaders. The guy didn't seem all to bright, but I was intrigued by his thoughts on this. I thought I'd share his idea here since it was something I haven't considered or heard about anywhere else."
