It'd be hilarious if the UK gets boo'd for Brexit and then ends up last lol.
We end up last every year anyway, all the European countries vote for their neighbours.

Yep, we have One Direction. Europe doesn't.

I think that Britain has to send in a reasonably good song to get some good votes. Neighbourhood voting can help keep you from the bottom and can help push a reasonable song to the top I agree. I do think Britain and (Ireland as well) send in crap songs the majority of the time and this is why they don't do well.

I know that with Australia there is most likely some novel voting going on but they have done well and that is because they send quality performers and quite good songs.

I'm quite unbiased when looking at Eurovision and places like Sweden have the winning formula down pat. I really don't believe it is because Europe hates Britain but that the songs they send are very mediocre. I also don't think any quality acts from Britain or Ireland would enter Eurovision so I don't see why people are surprised that they don't do well. Even then if they got the right act they would do better.

Australia is in it again so it will be interesting to see how they go this year. I think a lot of Euros would be a bit annoyed if Australia won. I personally don't understand how Australia is in Eurovision. Not really sure what the rationale behind that is? Is it really Eurovision anymore? Will they let the US in next?

No Germany ended up last last year, and the year before that as well (along with Austria).

Honey G should be the UK entry.

You only have to be a member or associate member of the European Broadcasting Union. Despite the name, there's no requirement to actually be located on the continent of Europe.

The US may send an entry if a TV channel becomes an associate member. Or Uganda.

I don't see why anyone would be annoyed if Australia would win.

Eurovision has been watched in Australia for a very long time.

That doesn't mean Australia should compete, but at least Australians know what Eurovision is. It seems far more reasonable than the U.S. competing. I doubt most Americans even know about the competition's existence.

It doesn't matter who we send, or what song they sing - the reality is that other countries won't vote for the UK.

I know, why is Australia in it?! The whole thing is a farce, and I wish the UK wasn't a part of it, to be honest.
