I'd write a critique of your first choice of song but upon remembering your actual Eurovision contestant I fell asleep yet again.
I might need hypnosis to save me from this one.

"Doc I have this song I need to forget because everytime I remember it I...zzzzz"

I guess it should have been this one (trip hop):

Or the song that won the young competition (dance-poppish):

Anyway, the one that got chosen for Eurovision wasn't even the most unremarkable song of the Sanremo competition, there was another one that was quite a bit slower but at least its message would have reached everyone and brought votes if sang in English (the song was dedicated to the migrants who died month after month in the Mediterranean)

Norway's pre-selection held tonight. Agnete to represent Norway in Stockholm with Icebreaker. The best song in a weak field this year.

The more i listen other countries picks the more i think we'll finish last or thereabouts, i think it will serve RAI well and finally make them realize not to pick songs through the Sanremo festival where the jury decides for the 60% of the vote.

I watched the German pre-selection with two German friends on Thursday, one of them basically lives for Eurovision.

It was such a freak show lmao. The Gregorians were hilarious.

Would have been an interesting choice, it would bring variety at least because Eurovision is getting more and more into a pop-dance contest, few countries are bringing songs that aren't in English, pop influenced by dance, house or disco elements and with the same old textes.

A song called Heroes won twice in the last couple years
