Out of these two, which would be less boring for an American expat currently living in Berlin?

Frankfurt is NOT boring - at least as I define boring. It is centrally located for easy flying/train/auto access. Sachsenhausen has a wonderful night life and there are plenty of cultural things to see and do here. It also has a more moderate climate due to the Rhine/Main confluence.
