Good exercise!! I used to skate to and from work alot. Lived about 4 miles from work. Haven't had skates on in years. I need a pair of them. I grew up on quad skates. Rollerblades will kill me.

I didn't know those still existed, except in the bins at Goodwill. I gave mine away ages ago. They didn't have stoppers.

Have fun!

Didnt know they still made quad rollerskates. Why didnt you go with RollerBlades? They are vastly superior to the old four wheeled skates - faster, better made, better ankle support, longer lasting (i.e., better quality), etc. Plus, they are pretty much the standard for anyone who wants to skate to lose weight/get healthy.

Roller derby here uses exclusively quad skates, as does most roller derby. You can definitely still get quad skates.

No, for me quad skates. I have tried rollerblades. They hurt my ankles, I cannot stop.

Thats odd. Most people prefer the Rollerblades because of much better ankle support. They are more like "boots" compared to the old four-wheeled skates so ankle problems (twists) were really a thing of the past after rollerblades came out. Do you have larger than normal sized ankles/calfs?

my rollerskates are a boot, I wouldn't of bought them if they were not.
