Hello, I am looking at going into the Exercise science degree field, but I am wondering; what can you really do with a BS in Exercise Science? Is it worth it? Or should I look at going for something more like Physical Therapy/PTA?

I know a woman who got that type of degree and got a job with a university designing exercise programs for its athletics and physical education departments.
It probably depends what you are looking to do with that degree / certificate. If you just want the information gained through the curriculum, then it is no loss to you. If you want a specific job, then maybe pursue the question from that angle instead (I want to be the strength & speed trainer for the Tampa Breeze, what qualifications do I need?)...
