They have a strict policy about "meatheads," whatever that means. I have no plans of being intimidating, so I won't be grunting or slamming weights. I'm not looking to lose weight, I just want to add muscle/mass, is this the right gym for me?

They are a decent gym and certainly priced right. I would probably join if there was one convenient to my work. I say go for it. You don't have much to lose other than some weight.
I believe they just don't want people with attitudes, walking around checking themselves out, checking other people out & assessing their lack of fitness with smirk, grunting, and high five-ing.
No frat boys & no football field antics. No bro's saying their Yo's.
...but I did read a story about somebody getting in trouble for 'breathing heavy', so I guess they dont want you to lift 'too' hard.
I looked at a PF but decided to go elsewhere it seemed like a fitness factory with not a whole lotta strength equipment.

Please go, and grunt & slam weights. And post the video. Should be fun
