Every person I have ever seen doing burpees well seems to be long in the legs and able to snap out to prone position without difficulty. This creates an extra energy budget to allow more work or fancy additions to the work, i.e. double jumps, etc. It helps to be on the fast twitch side of the muscle inheritance. I'm long in the torso and have one heck of a time getting those legs snapped out/in at the bottom. I'm fairly mobile in the hips and flexors so that's not the issue.

Any advice to overcome this?

IMO it has nothing to do with muscle twitch, but more so practice. If you cant do the full movement yet, break it down, modify and build strength in the basics.

For example:
Squat jumps
Mountain climbers
Push-ups
Planks
Etc

I do burpee pullups. Probably the toughest exercise ever.

I agree, start out slow and learn the proper steps first. Once you have the motion going, then speed it up. I would suggest to put both hands on the ground first then kick your legs into a plank position. Then retract your legs close to your hands and jump up with your arms up.

Hindu squats and push ups are good, so are dive bombers.

This guy is a BW stud who trains soldiers, check out his exercise, and no I am not an affiliate, just trying to help.

I found a fix to my particular problem. Place a couple of dumbbells on the deck. They are where your hands will be when you drop into position for the kick. Use the smallest dumbbells you can get your hands around and do the kick in good form.

I found that it gives me just enough lift so that I can complete the burpee in good form with a hop. You can also use the dumbbells for man (or woman) makers. And yes, MM's/WM's are the best single exercise there is.

There are many tougher ones. Look up 'Aztec Push Up' or if that's not convincing enough, 'Human Flag'.

I'm not saying burpee pull-ups are super easy, but jumping up into a pullup is a lot easier than, say, 5 slow controlled ones, as well as many other really hard "core" exercises. Don't argue just try it.
