Despite being over 50, when it comes to exercise, I like listening to my teenager's gangster rap, LOL Eminem, DJ Khaled, Waka Flocka Flame. It really does get you moving.

As long as it has upbeat tempo it doesnt matter. I enjoy techno, reggae, hard rock , etc.
Worst thing is running and all sudden a ballad comes on!

As a runner, I like to listen to my iPod when running. No stations, I don't bother with that stuff, just stuff from iTunes.

Anything that's Classic Rock (60's, 70's, & 80's rock) gets me going & happy.

I don't generally like dance music...my music of choice is mellow and soothing, but of course, that doesn't work well for rigorous workouts. So music with a beat that forces me to move me feet is what I go with in this context, and leave my acoustic singer/songwriters for my cooldown.

I don't listen to anything when I walk, except whatever sounds are around me...squirrels, birds, cards, fellow walkers greeting me, etc.

I walk 1-1:30 hours each day.
