Actually you have that backwards. Personality matters far more than your job.

Yeah, for quite some time now. We've got the added pressure of cultivating a thigh gap and looking great in yoga pants and skinny jeans. Not good, but great. Not mention the celebrity "new mommy" interviews, which inevitably lead to talk of baby weight just melting off from breastfeeding and chasing small children around, and being bikini-ready 8 weeks after delivery. There's a reason so damn many of us struggle with eating disorders.

I doubt that. Rich guys with questionable personalities will do better than broke, nice guys every time. Money trumps everything in this world.

I thought thigh gaps were genetic, and yoga pants do the job for most women themselves. Pretty much designed to give women a flattering figure. The celebrity mommy stuff is something I, as a guy, do not follow, and I doubt many other guys do as well.

I don't mean this to sound condescending, but as a guy you won't understand. Period. But, I'm also glad that you won't, because it's not fun. The pressure is intense, it starts very young and doesn't let up. Ever. Someone up thread mentioned Pierce Brosnan, who is allowed to let himself go in between roles, but his wife is ridiculed for doing the same. [insert female celebrity] eats a big lunch, thereby sparky a nationwide "baby bump" watch... but [insert male celebrity] is labeled a hipster for putting on a few pounds.

He does not agree and in a perfect world I wish women went for nice guys but the hot ones at least usually go for douche bags or pompous millionaires sadly. Its hard out there for a pimp these days lol

Comparing two complete extreme ends of a spectrum is absurd to begin with, but much research has shown that money is surprisingly unimportant attraction driver in women.

We wish. It's all over the place! It's yahoo and MSN front page stuff so even if we don't read the articles, the messages have already reached the brain.
