I workout all the time and such, but I'm just about in my mid-30's. I used to be a size 7-8, about 3 years ago. I like my size now and I wouldn't change it.
But I see these advertisements of women who went from a size 10 to a size 4 with the new exercise routine they do now. I just don't understand why women want to be so thin? It's not all that attractive and some of them, I thought, looked better when they were a size 10.
So, what is so wrong with being a size 10? I like being a 10 now. I love my curves. I'm healthy too (I had my physical just 2 months ago). I can still run/jog 4 miles with no problem.
nothing at all...as long as you are healthy and you feel good, that is all that matters. 10 is not overweight for a lot of women. My wife has more muscle than most women, she ran track, did gymnastics, diving team...she looks fantastic as an 8-10.

Well, if you like it then who cares what anyone else thinks? Just be aware that with the stupid "vanity sizing", a size 10 now was a size 14 or 16 a few years back. So yeah...you may be on the chunky size.
I've been a size 8 since high school (I'm 47 now)...and yet even though I haven't changed in body size, still being at 5'7" and 125 pounds, my "size 8" now is usually tagged as a size four, sometimes even less than that. Go figure.
I was a size 10 but a 6 in finer stores. Depends on where you shop. Just be prepared for menopause and becoming a size 14-16. It hits before you know it. Creeps up on you when you are busy with life.

You are so right. A lot of those women have Nancy Reagan syndrome. That is a too large head for thei body.

Jeeez, you're just the bearer of good news, aren't ya? This isn't always the case...lol.
It also depends how tall you are. Size 10 looks thin on those 5'8'' and up. I don't like to be a size 10. It looks fatty on my frame/ht. (5.25'' wrist/5'6'') I think size 4-6 suits me best. Everyone has their own values. Who cares what some page says. No tag sizes match in my closet anyway. It all depends on the cut. I have been bigger than that and I notice that the clothing after a size 8 just is not composed correctly.

I was always very thin in my 20's and early 30's. I fit comfortably in a 7/8.
I'm 36, and I'm also a size 10. I'm 5'7 though.
I think if I were a size 4, i would look like skeletore! It really depends on how tall you are, and what your frame is like.
Depending on the brand, I fluctuate from a size 8 to a size 12. I love my curves and I can't imagine myself any smaller. I sometimes have a hard time keeping weight on even though when most people imagine someone with a high metabolism, they think of someone who is a size 0 or a 2.
Those weight loss ads are for the women who aren't comfortable with their size.
