I have Isopure Zero Carb vanilla. I got it at GNC. It is 100% whey protein isolate which they claim is the best protein, but I really don't know if it is. A serving is 2 scoops, 210 cals and 50 g protein, but I use one scoop for smoothies. It tastes pretty good, but I don't like it in oatmeal. I think an unflavored variety would be better for that.
I love this smoothie:
1 scoop vanilla Zero Carb Isopure
1/2 c calcium-fortified OJ
4 oz Light n' Fit Vanilla yogurt
frozen blueberries
I dont drink smoothies at all. Waaaaaaay too much sugar in them. Even in the home made smoothies there's too much sugar. Fruit is NOT a free food. Too much fruit means too much sugar intake and all the Jamba Juices and Robeks Juices all are just spilling over with sugar. Same with homemade smoothies.
Yes. They have some that are in smaller containers (which is what I get) and they last me for about 2-3 months because I dont use them everyday. I drink the chocolate one though.
I'm going to pick up some of the Optimum nutrition today though.

Fruit has natural sugar. However smoothies are ok when done in moderation. I limit myself to no more than 3 a week and have still continued to lose weight. Afterall, its better than making a whole pan of brownies when I really crave every once in a while
The smoothies that you get from everywhere else do have the frozen yogurts and things like that that do have sugar, but I am picky about my first 5 ingredients and sugar is one of those 5.
for $38+. I have no idea what it tastes like by itself because I mix up a milk kefir drink every morning that has so many different things in it--fruit juice concentrates, egg whites, green tea powder, calcium citrate, etc.-- it tastes like a yogurt smoothie.
Natural sugar is natural sugar. Fruit intake needs to be monitored. Sure its okay to have a half grapefruit for breakfast and maybe two bananas at other times, but fruit is NOT like green veggies which can be eaten at any time at almost any amounts. Fruit is NOT a free food where you can just eat a lot of it and think "its healthy". Too much sugar can be taken in that way.

Three is a lot even when on a bulk (weight gaining cycle). 99% of protein power that is sold is mean to be taken with only water, milk or juice. No other products need to be added since they also have sugar included.
Glad that you were able to lose weight while drinking 3 smoothies per week. Very lucky you are.
I love the lean mass builder from GNC - 30g protein - yummy! - I get the vanilla and mix it with my diet hot chocolate in the am (with hot water) = mmmmm 135 calories plus 25 calories from my coco mix! No bad smell or aftertaste - it comes in a big green bottle!
Has anyone tried is? What flavor did you try and whats your opinion?
My advice is to stay away from any protein powder that is flavored. Chances are it has a lot of artificial sweeteners and additives. Plus, for the money, you can get a lot higher protein content per serving than the BL protein. Check out bulkfoodsdirect.com. They have a pure whey protein powder that doesn't have anything artificial added. It's great for shakes and adding to things like oatmeal, soups, yogurt or just about anything. They even have a bunch of recipes on their site. I've been using this protein powder for a while and I love it.
My advice is to stay away from any protein powder that is flavored.
