Leave the top button undone otherwise it spells socially awkward nerd. Tucked in with dressier looking pants for work or other more conservative places. Untucked is ok for casual wear.

I dont know if this was meant in sarcasm but I agree, myself as well as a lot of my friends used to rock the polo in school. I wont tell u my age but if your 16, i am old enough to be your parent.

There are different ways to rock the polo, the one u like best is the way you should wear it. jeans/untucked, khaki's/tucked, def, as someone else suggested, dont button it all the way up.

I don't button ANY of the buttons, there's usually only like 3 buttons anyhow.

I wear em all the time. I usually wear them untucked with jeans with all buttons done except for the top 1.

Mine are from American Eagle and I leave them untucked, generally. they look better that way. They're fine for school with the buttons undone (if you have two buttons, leave them. if you have three buttons, button the bottom-most one.) Undershirts are a good idea if you sweat.

I was just like you, but I started wearing polos every once in a while this summer and I like them.

I love guys in polos (and yes, I am a girl).

Anyway, there are lots of options, polos are versatile.

Starting at the preppiest and getting more casual:

A couple things to note from all of Radraja's pics:

1. A trim fit. Shoulder seams should sit at the "corner" of your shoulder, not part-way down your arm, and the fit should be close to the body.

2. The sleeves should hit at mid-bicep, not the elbow.

3. Length should be just over the belt, not over your butt.

4. Do NOT wear a visible white tee under the polo.
