I like wearing board shorts as opposed to tiny daisy duke shorts. They look better and feel comfortable. I've never worried about looking too masculine.

I generally hate shorts and didn't wear them for years because they were all too short. I was really glad when longer shorts came back into fashion. Knee-length or slightly shorter is the perfect length for me whether skirt/dress or shorts.

That too.

I think board shorts look really cute with a little t-shirt or a bikini top, if you're at the beach.

Yeah, now that I think about it, I really don't see women wearing them anymore. I was just a small child in the 1990s and early 2000s, but I do remember women wearing these cargo pants and longer shorts. They were mostly worn by high school girls and college aged females. It seemed like fashion trends then were more "gender neutral" than they are today. Women today seem to dress more "dressed-up" and in a more feminine way. A lot of women, particularly younger women wear dresses and skirts now.

I can't help but laughing at this. so we can now determine a womans sexual preference based on what length of shorts she wears. This may actually top when I had a very short pixie haircut and was told it was a "lesbian haircut"

It all depends on whether or not they have rainbows on them.

^^ This is very true.

I have a few pairs of short shorts, and a couple of pairs of long shorts that used to be my brother's (we are both pretty skinny). When I wear my long shorts, I wear a tank top or a well-fitted shirt so I don't look baggy and shapeless. It's a very comfortable, yet cute outfit for when I don't want to look made-up.

And, oddly enough, my husband told me he actually prefers it when I wear my long shorts - he thinks they are sexy.

truth is Lesbians don't care about fashion, so you can wear the short at the size you consider flatter your figure, and let the others thinks what ever they want.

I agree with the OP. Women wore short shorts and said if a guy wears them hes gay. So guys started wearing these ugly long shorts. Now all of a sudden girls want to wear the long shorts. Its only fair that guys assume the girl is a lesbian if she wears them. If a woman doesnt like being labelled a lesbian because of the shorts she wears then maybe she shouldnt label a man as gay because of the shorts he wears.
