voting YES for my SIL who loves his flip flops--he lives Gulf Coast side of FL though and wears them pretty much all the time he is at home--going out to eat or to store or whatever--
and since it is FL he wears shorts most of the time anyway
daughter can wear flip flops to teach in even--which is really bad for her back--but she does it anyway
husband never wears flip flops except if he is definitely going to someone's pool--
And have my feet torn off on an escalator? Thanks, but no thanks.
If it's comfortable, and I'm on my own time, then flip flops are fine. If someone wants to waste their time staring at my feet, that's fine, I could care less...
