I don't like the dresses from the 30's- flapper style. I think that style is unflattering on almost any figure type.
I think its funny that we look back on fashions and find them ugly, when during that time, we tend to accept those looks as normal.
I can't believe leg warmers were ever considered "cool," for example.
Also, its fun to watch movies from the 80's and early 90's before flat irons were available- even the big movie stars had frizzy, poofy hair (Fatal Attraction is a good example- both the wife and the mistress had frizzy poofy hair).

Each decade I can think of has some fashion I really like, and some that I think is hideous or ridiculous. I can't think of a decade where I think everything, fashionwise, was all good or all bad.
