While many people say that Jackie O was a beauty queen, I grew up thinking she just looked ehh on an attraction scale. Michelle Obama, another ehh. Can't say much for the others of the last 2 generations either. Did we ever have a knock out for a first lady or are Presidents not allowed to have sexy models for wives?
Stunning? Probably not. But you do have to keep in mind that most people do not seek presidency until their 40s or 50s and their spouses are similarly aged. While there are gorgeous middle aged women, they are the exception, not the rule.
Before all the idiots start posting and saying things about Democrats or Republicans, or how one or the other is somehow better than the other, let me say that due to age of women who become first ladies, none can be considered true "stunners". Other than say for their age women like Laura Bush and Jackie Kennedy, First Lady Ellen Arthur was probably the most attractive of the bunch:
Michelle Obama is ugly. Its not that I dont think she is unattractive, I look at her face and just think she is ugly.
Play nice.
I would say on the plain side, but she's a great dresser has a nice smile and a firm bod, so I would give her high marks for fitness. I think Reagans wife was pretty attractive in her day but she wasn't a Marylin Monroe, Vanessa Williams or even a Joan Collins. I'm thinking Natalie Woods "type" as being a beautiful first lady.
Michelle Obama has no fashion sense at all, remember how she used to dress the first couple of years in office? It wasn't until recently that she has been under the guidance of fashion experts to help her out.
I never found any of the first ladies to be attractive. Jackie O probably came closest.
