A few years ago my mom gave my husband a pair of sox made of linen fiber. He wore them to their death. They were cool in summer, warm in winter.
And by the way, they were thin enough to wear with dress shoes

Wear the shoes without socks! Or, if you MUST wear socks, get the low ankle sock...so it barely shows. I'm assuming you mean that these shoes are the ones pictured in the other thread.
None. If socks are necessary buy peds. When it gets a little cooler like it is now in the fifties and sixties, I like the low cut or ankle cut socks. I am not a fan of socks that go up the leg.
