The weird thing is that I hear some women say this, but colored pants are HUGE part of life in parts of this country. For example, colored pants have been a staple in the southern preppy look for decades. And CONSERVATIVE southern women don't seem to have issues with their men wearing such pants.

Wow, do people not hear themselves? This makes you unmanly, that makes you look gay. It's so rude and closed-minded.

No we hear ourselves loud and clear. There's a difference between ignorance and having an opinion and MY opinion is Pepto Bismol pink pants, even salmon colored pants are not manly and most men wouldn't dare wear colored pants. The reality of stereotypes is gay men, emo/indie/hipster men wear colored pants more than the meat heat, redneck, jock type.

It would be rude if we were calling someone who was actually wearing pants "gay" or "unmanly" but we arent.

Is that look gay? Not really. Is it out of the ordinary for a straight man? Yes.

I do not like them. Maybe the blue ones are ok that were in the OP. I wouldn't want my SO to wear them, and I don't think I have to be worried....

We did see this guy one morning when we went out for breakfast:

"Unmanly?" Good Grief!! It's how you act that counts. Not what color your pants are.

Do Gay men never wear black, navy, brown, etc.? I think the SHOES in the first picture are more "gay-looking" than the pants.

Double monks? seriously, those are classic mens dress shoes.

I'm going to assume you don't know much about men's clothing.

I know lots about men's clothing and I hate monk strap shoes.

Differing opinion doesn't equal ignorance.
