In some of thes cases - do you think that there should be ramifications for the doctors. I'm all for people looking the way they want to - up to a point but how can a doctor jusitfy preforming surgery on someone who clearly has a mental illness?
Why are people so fascinated by cases of people who have had a gazillion cosmetic procedures and now look weird and bizarre? And not by the millions of people in their midst who have only had a couple and look great?
Some of those people clearly have BDD (body dysmorphic disorder)...others like Lacey Wilddd are just huge attention seekers.

I'm fasinated that , as you said, these people are suffering from personality disorders or BDD - so I don't think it's ethical to preform SURGERY on them. I can't really think of another profession where we would allow someone practice on someone who is mentally ill.
For example, Octomom's doctor lost his license because of what he did...
