Women in media shown topless with nothing adding to the plot of a movie/TV show: Silence.
Women in media shown topless while her male counterpart is completely clothed. Bonus points if this is happening while they're having sex: Silence.
Women baring a breast to feed their child: "Oh my god, put it away!" "Have you no decency?" "How disgusting!"
Women topless on a nude beach or in a private setting: "Put them away!" "What a ****." "She should know better than to walk around like that in public."
I don't want to see boobs in public. That being said, I don't want to see moobs (man boobs) in public...but am often subjected to them. My eyes! My eyes!!!
Yes women have boobs but maybe we don't want everyone to see them and i certainly don't want to see everyone elses either. The point is young girls on the internet are being asked my males to show their breasts, surely people can see what is wrong with that.
Nothing to get over if you cover your pieces and parts that others really don't want to see in a public restaurant, meeting hall, shopping center parking lot, department store, Walmart (and please pull up your pants so I don't have to see your butt crack either).
Please feel free to show your boobs at your local strip club and hopefully you will collect lots -o - dollars.
As a woman, it actually does shock me every time I see a woman breastfeeding in public, and I know it shouldn't. I was just brought up very modestly, never changing in front of anyone, etc. I go shopping with a friend of mine and we try on clothes. She drags me in with her and it nearly kills me every time!!!
I do not dress in front of my boyfriend. He thinks I am nuts! (maybe I am) We wake up having slept with no clothes on together all night and he stands there and gets dressed and I wait for him to leave in order to get dressed.
I sat with a male friend of mine one day having lunch and a lady was breastfeeding and I remarked on it. He was shocked because his feelings were that breasts are natural, etc.
I do think that our thoughts are skewed in childhood, by the way we are brought up. Of course when I was a child, I don't remember many women breastfeeding at all, either.
The only reason that they shouldn't is because we've grown up in a society conditioned to be see breasts in such a way that we can only be shocked or aroused by them. No other option.
FYI, my home was a very nudity comfortable home (I, my mother and my sister were nude or partially nude very often) and I was raised in a home schooling Christian environment where we were not allowed to watch television or listen to secular music. So, comfort with nudity has nothing to do with a crazy, swinging libertine lifestyle.
