If you want to wear a sweater or sweatshirt, fine. That thin material looks like boxer shorts fabric. Doesn't have to be so form fitting either. My sister looks meaner.
Actually I am French. Hubby is British. And believe me we do have plenty of slobs and sartorially challenged people ( male and female) on this side of the Pond too.... And there is no monopoly on flair for fashion in my opinion. Anyone can be well dressed.
