It's dangerous to make such generalizations about people just by what they're wearing.
I knew someone would say this even before I posted my opinion lol. Okay then, I'll reword it: I think I'd look slutty and would attract the wrong attention from men if I wore short shorts in public.
I'm in my late 20's and I still wear short shorts as in daisy dukes, but I have the body for it. Is it ok that I still dress like that. When should women stop wearing things like this.
Is there an appropriate age for looking like a tart?
Agreed with the kids comment. Maybe I am conservative, but even one has the body for it..there is a time an a place. Everyday running around...eh, not for me!. On vacation or if you live in a beach town/area...I can see how its the "norm".
But yes, once you are have kids, I think you should pack away the butt shorts and trade them in for juuuuussstt a couple of inches longer, jean skirts are a wonderful alternative, or a cute dress.
Women (especially the SAHMs/Tiger moms/ PTA moms) can be brutal..so I think you put a target on your back (if you have the body or not)..when your sporting your daisy dukes.

If you've got it, flaunt it I say. From my own selfish POV I'd rather see a fit 37yo woman sporting short shorts and showing off her legs vs an overweight 18yo. That goes for men of any age too.
Are you going to a Xanadu-themed costume party? Because that would be awesome.
