For anyone who has wondered how to get yellow underarm stains out from shirts, or just wants their whites super white - soak them overnight with powdered Biz - when you get up the next morning, the water will be gray-brown colored due to all the crud it gets out. I have found the liquid version doesn't work as well.
This thread has inspired me to pay more attention to my male co-workers and see if I can detect undershirts.
Actually, it looks ridiculous NOT to wear an undershirt, unless you're trying to look like some disco king from the 1970's. Maybe you like your men with lots of gold chains too????!!!!
I actually agree. To me, it just looks...weird... to see a man without one

Every man I have seen wears undershirts when dressed for work. Typical work-wear for men requires a Formal button up shirt ,Undershirt, dress pants, black socks, black shoes, and a belt. If its cold outside, add a blazer. If its freezing add a trench coat, hat, and gloves .
I don't care what others do, but for myself I couldn't imagine wearing a t-shirt under my polo or any other shirt. Maybe I'm just warm blooded, but that would mean having two layers on instead of just the one, which would mean feeling hot all day long, even indoors in the air conditioning. I don't know how people do it, you are essentially wearing two shirts! Maybe if it's a cold day and you are outside all day the extra layer helps, but in the summer?
Well, yeah, they are called "wife beaters". Are you familiar with the concept of slang?
This, of course, does not mean that your grandfather (or mine; he wore them, too) beat his wife.
There are quite a few words that are slang and not used because they are derogatory. Part of discussing fashion is also knowing when to stop using derogatory slang and move into the civilized world.
Probably no more than menstrual pads cause bleeding.
There is truth to this causing sweating, because someone is wearing an extra layer of clothing, which holds in more body heat, causing the person to be warmer than they would without it.
Okay this is going to be the undershirt issue revisited. Do you realize how ridiculous you look with a t shirt sticking out of your polo collar, or the outline of a wifebeater under your dress shirt? There is no reason to worry about "too much chest hair" unless you have unbuttoned THE FIRST FOUR buttons. I realize many many people do this but I think it is a ridiculous look, and doesn't look very "proper."
Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound, ranting about a man's undershirt? Especially about something you are totally ignorant about!
It's not about chest hair, for God's sake. What are you, 17? This is about hygiene, and soaking up any sweat. Some men sweat more than others, and their polo shirt or dress shirt can stick to them along their back, or get stained under the arms during the day, which looks even worse.
To BadGalBee and to Malloric:
People do those terrible things just to irritate you. They want to irritate you out of jealousy that you know so much about the truly important things in life. If people had any real class they would prostrate themselves at your feet and implore you to enlighten them. But no, some people persist in their stubbornness and pigheadedness. Just as well though; if everyone followed your advice, how would you be able to feel so superior?
