Just remember, once you go real dark it a major job go lighter again...You might want have this done by a professional, who does coloring...

Should take the color fine, since you had to do that intense red over blonde anyway. I see no issue with it. When it starts to fade, it'll fade into a color that's a watered-down version of itself because it's over blonde anyway.
