Hah -- last year when I got new glasses (not big), I noticed a rack of large, plastic rims in different colors. They said the "kids" were all wearing them now. Go figure!
I like some of them. My new glasses meet the trend. . Brown plastic with neon orange trim. They have better shapes now than in the 80s.

I like them. Glad to hear theyre back. Thanks for the update.
Been putting off buying new glasses cause I hate the small ones so much.
Last time I got sunglasses frames to get glasses that fit.
Im a tall person. I dont like wearing glasses that look like they belong on a five year old.
And as far as hiding your face. IMO Larger glasses show off your eyes. Smaller ones hide them. Not to mention blocking your vision .
I can wear contacts, and have them onhand for formal events (undecided if I'm wearing them or not in my upcoming wedding...I rarely wear contacts, almost always wear my glasses, and if there were ever a day I want to look like myself...but, my current frames are more casual than formal...decisions, decisions). I choose glasses over contacts any day of the week, though, really. I like how I look better in frames than without. They suit me and I look better in glasses.
