Let's say flip flops with shorts and a tee.I've gotten mixed feedback. Most women I've talked to in my age range (20s, 30s) say flip flops are best with shorts on a guy and good pretty much anywhere. Yet I don't know too many guys that wear them, even in the summer.
It's an individual decision. I will wear them on my own patio, or at the beach/pool. I feel like a bit of a slob wearing them in any other circumstance.

That's kinda what I thought but then some friends said they are acceptable anywhere that shorts are worn. I wasn't so sure about that though

I don't know; they probably are, in general, a lot of the time. *shrug*
I'm just sayin'... I prefer not to be the guy who doesn't bother to put on an actual pair of shoes when out in public. If other people want to be that guy (or girl) they can.
