No I quite wearing the track suits years ago when you saw Soprano types or Russian mafia types wearing those.
I just call them that because that's how they were marketed when I first bought them years back. I guess they are neutral colored flannel/cotton pants.
What exactly are "leisure pants"? I've never heard the term.
Me, either. Could you enlighten us please, OP?

OK, this is helpful. So they sell plain flannel pajama pants for men to wear around at home, or for a quick run to the store?
I've never heard of this or seen it. OP, why not wear jeans or khakis, or, you know, regular clothes at home? Do you live alone?
Ruth why would I dress up in my house? I am married and want to be comfortable. Since I work from home casual is a fringe benefit. Casual outside is jeans and cargo pants not inside, but yeah I see your point. My wife actually hates jeans, no kidding. I don't know why.
It's pretty rare I was just curious. Typically I will run errands in sweat pants or whatever they are called these days
I think solid color "leisure pants" could pass for sweats and could be worn out to the store. Plaid pants just seem like pajamas to me, even if everything else about them is the same.
IMO as long as theyre pulled up where what you want. I went to the store once late at night and saw a man wearing a dress. If i can handle that im pretty sure i could handle seeing a man wearing leisure pants.

Ironically I just made the switch living in Denver to save money on heating costs, now in OC I will roll with shorts or sweat pants unless I want to be accused of being POW
