When I see those, I generally assume the woman had them done for a special event, not that she's going to wear them all day, every day.
Have you ever seen someone wearing them? I haven't, just pictures online.

I haven't run into any women with nails like that yet. And I frequent the Valley (Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Burbank, Encino, Calabasas, etc.).

The impracticality of them makes them ridiculous.
