I like Gloria Vanderbilt jeans, especially the Amanda straight legged style. They're comfortable and reasonably priced. I'm going through a new phase because I recently moved out of SW Florida and wearing a heavy flannel shirt or a sweater is such a treat! Jeans with a cotton jersey under a plaid flannel shirt is just my style.
I don't like brands too impersonal and big conglomerates produced in horrible factories, I like handmade clothes.
At the moment I desperately want these beautiful hand knitted oatmeal socks, there is just something so quaint, romantic, and meaningful about handmade items you can value vs pieces thrown together in a horrible factory for one dollar and sold for 100 times that to profit shareholders.its so awful.

I'm not a fan of huge international brands, and I usually support Australian brands as well. I travel a lot, but since coming home, I've found myself buying more and more clothes at Cooper St. Their clothes aren't that expensive and when they're on sale, they're REALLY ON SALE.
When abroad though, I go for more affordable brands like Cotton On, Uniqlo, and Americal Eagle Outfitters.
