haha, so I've heard. I've known men who cheated with women who were actually downright ugly compared to their girlfriends/wives. It's baffling.... o_O

Well yes and no. I think my wife looks a little better when she's wearing makeup. Not too much, but a little. I think it's generally true of women that a little bit of makeup used judiciously can be a good thing.

I also like that my wife doesn't really wear makeup and is, within reason, not overly concerned about her appearance.

One thing I must admit I love is when I see a woman with bright red lipstick. I guess it is a weakness for me. It just captivates me.

Can fishnets and red or black high heels pumps be considered makeup?

That's exactly what everyone called her behind her back... At my current office building one of the other companies has "Goth Girl" working for them. SO much make-up! Totally pale white foundation, black lipstick and dark blue eye shadow, hair died jet black and all topped off with a black stud nose piercing. As one of my colleagues said "At least the mortician won't have much work to do when she croaks."

YES, excellent comment. I dealt with this. I lost a lot of weight when I was with my ex, and he would make jokes about how I was going to realize how beautiful I was (I have low self-esteem), and leave him. I remember one time we were going out, with our mutual friends, and I put on a top that was semi-low cut. I don't have huge boobs, so it wasn't like I was looking over-the-top sexed up or anything--it was a tasteful but sexy blouse. He had a problem with me wearing it, so I changed--but I'll never forget that. It really bothered me. Yet, he would constantly check other women out who were wearing the type of things that he would never want me to wear. Pig.

Women never look hideous with a lot of makeup, but some do look a bit odd. The thing is, when you see a woman wear makeup on a normal basis, then suddenly one day she goes without makeup, it can be a shocker on what she really looks like.

Wear that makeup if you want ladies. I am cool with it. I think it is a nice thing to do if you want to. It is no different from haircolor or blowdrying their hair. It is not necessary but it is a nice thing and I love a woman who takes great pride in her appearance
