I have never been much into expensive brand name shoesand weather they are sneakers or other types of shoes. I am perfectly happy with shoes from Walmart or kmart but I look around and it seems like everyone else is wearing Nike, Reebok, New Balance, Timberland and other brands. I feel like I am the only one who wears cheaper shoes. I have owned a few brand name shoes before but I haven't found them to last me much longer or be that much better. I would not mind buying a brand name pair of shoes but I don't like paying those prices. Do you only wear brand name shoes or do you also buy cheaper ones.
I've bought shoes from Walmart, and I've bought more expensive shoes. There's no way that the Walmart shoes last as long. I don't pay more for a name, but I do pay more for quality.
I have some shoes cheap but good as converse all star, it's about 50$. I dont care about trade mark, I pay attention for quality and style. I like active style.
I have some athletic shoes from Walmart that cost $20 and some New Balance that cost $180. Guess which one is more comfortable? I like to save money too, but the older I get, the more my feet seem to hurt, so having better shoes for walking and exercise really makes my life better.
Not all expensive shoes are more comfortable, it really depends on the brand and the fit.
I have always bought the most expensive yet comfortable shoes I could find. The fashion type $200+ ones never feel comfortable. I usually spend between $80 & $135. They last forever. $20 shoes that last 1 yr vs $80 shoes that last 8 yrs. You do the math.
I've bought many shoes from Target and a few from Wal-Mart. Although some may
look good, they are just very uncomfortable and I end up tossing them. My Nikes and higher end brand names? I wear them all the time and they last me for years. My experience with quality and price is to always go with quality first, because I'll eventually end up buying the higher quality item later on anyway.
I usually buy cheaper tennis shoes, which I probably shouldn't do. They never last very long. For "nicer" shoes I've had pretty good luck with American Eagle brand.
