I heard a long time ago, I don't remember where, that some women in France would add a touch of their own vaginal "scent" to their "pulse points" (neck and wrists) before a hot night out, to stimulate men. I have no idea if this story is factual or just a legend, though.

My favorites go back a few years. I've always loved deep, strong, bold perfumes (woodsy, musk, slightly flowery -- NOT sweet)
-- Diva by Ungaro
-- Aviance by Prince Matchabelli
-- Amarige by Givenchy
-- Obsession for MEN (as a women's scent)
-- Angel by Thierry Mugler
-- Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo
I hate to say it (it's just a personal thing) but for cheaper scents I do like the JLo perfumes as well.
Favorite men's scent for men -- hands down -- Quorum by Pugh
Oh I forgot…and yes…..Giorgio.
I actually like to talk about perfumes and when I do…Giorgio was soooo popular that even now, if you were around and old enough to know about Giorgio….. to this day it elicits reactions from people…memories or hating it, or liking it or smelling it, etc.

Oh...Giorgio! What a gorgeous perfume. Truly an icon of the 1980s.
So beautiful, baroque, and alluring. When I was growing up a lot of the older women wore this on special occasions. You would walk by a beautiful, well-dressed, bejeweled lady--looking like a million dollars--and smelling of this intoxicating perfume! It was heavenly. I was thrilled when I was old enough to wear it.

Natural pheromones?
Not sure about the French, but it is rumored that Cleopatra did this.
