Using suit during the summer (color, thin)

Hello, I am going to start interning this month so I am a little scared because I usually sweat a lot and it is summer in the place where I am living because of that I would like to know if anyone could give me some advice on how to use a suit during the summer and keep cool or at least bearable?

What materials do you think are best for a shirt and suit to be made of? (ex:cotton)
Does the color of the shirt and suit influence in the amount of heat that one will feel using it?
Do you use socks?
