It's a very exciting time! I remember very well the look on my mom's face when I tried on a formal dress at that age, and the way BOTH felt when we found "the right" dress. Have fun!
The dress is lovely and stands on it's own. I would suggest a simple crystal drop earring, not long and dangling just enough length to move a bit. I would also look for a pretty silver and crystal bracelet.
I'm kind of surprised to read all the opinions that she's too young for dangly earrings. I mean, she's a teenager, not a toddler. Sure, I don't think she needs to be wearing the big heavy earrings that tug on the lobes from the sheer weight of them. But there are plenty of chandelier styles that are practically weightless.
Is there some other reason other than weight that people object to a teenager wearing anything dangly?
Short sparkly drop or hoop earrings (hair up=No stud earrings)
Sparkly bracelets.
Flats.
