you definitely need to scrub well, try proactive, it works. After the shower, i would dry well , use lotion, and let it dry out. some people might say no , but having some one clean your back with hydrogen peroxide may also help your situation.
you may also want to try changing detergent, keep fresh bed sheets, fresh t shirt and clothing, and avoid poly/synthetic fabrics for a while.
