My wife makes me wear red on Valentine's Day, red, white and blue on July 4, orange on Halloween and green on St. Patrick's Day. We're Jewish so we don't dress up for Christmas unless going to a mixed religion event, in which case red and white are the order of the day. All my wife's doing.
I find red to be more of a Christmas color, which is why I wear red on Christmas and pink on Valentine's Day. Still, that doesn't stop me from wearing the same color for another holiday, such as pink on Easter. This is why I am considering red for the Fourth of July.
We should have seen this one coming. How the heck did we get past Arbor Day without everyone having to provide their opinions on the exact shade of green polo??
Oh my goodness, what color to wear on Mother's Day? And oh noes! The alligator or the guy on a pony?

I will probably wear pink, however, I cannot afford Lacoste or Polo Ralph Lauren (although I have bought the latter from the outlets from time to time). IZOD is my brand of choice since they provide the best balance between price and quality, although I have a few Chaps, U.S. Polo Assn, and Nautica.
