For the past two years, I have been buying my grandfather IZOD shirts, two polo shirts in pink (one in Pink Lavender and one in Fairy Tale with green stripes) and one in green (Absinthe Green), as well as a Saltwater Oxford Pelican Print button-down shirt in Fairy Tale.
Aren't those all shirts you own? Seems odd to buy a family member matching shirts. I agree with others, buy something he would like even if its not something you would wear. If his favorite color is actually green, then buy something in green (without the pink). Or a light blue would also be a good color.

Buy him a manly dark color for a change. He probably gets weary of your feminine taste. How would you like it if he bought you a camouflage pants set? Same thing. Think.
Still, if your grandfather is in PR after Irma, there may be other gifts more useful or helpful to him than a polo shirt that you want.
Like what besides food and water which we already shipped? The only other thing they need is electricity, and nobody is willing to ship a generator to PR unfortunately. We might send some more food and water in a month if conditions don't improve, but this is just an extra on top of the necessities.
BTW, I actually just bought the shirt today at Stein Mart not expecting to find a style he will probably like for a pretty good price. It is an IZOD Golf Grid Polo in a bright turquoise color (more blue than green) known as Hawaiian Ocean.

Note that I don't always buy pink for everyone. Last year, for my father for Christmas, I bought him IZOD Advantage Polos in Peacoat (navy blue) and Kombu Green (dark kelp green), and he really liked one in Blue Radiance (light turquoise) that I was wearing bought him one for this Christmas (I have it hidden in my house). For my cousin, I bought him a slim fit Advantage Polo in Peacoat. For my pastor's birthday I bought him last year an Advantage Polo in Real Red.

For my younger female cousin and for my second female cousin (both who are really cute IMO) I plan on buying them Forever 21 gift cards, since they really like Forever 21. I also bought my second cousin who is about the same age as me a Chili's gift card, and plan to buy stuff for her little girls as well. For my older cousin in California for his birthday, I bought him a Bloomin' Brands (Outback, Carrabba's, Bonefish, and Fleming's) gift card, since he really likes Carrabba's and always eats there every time he visits his mother/my aunt in Virginia. For my brother's recent birthday, I bought him an emailed Amazon gift card.
Note that one of the shirts I bought for my grandfather (the one I bought for his most recent birthday) was not a polo, but an IZOD Newport Oxford Pelican Print button down shirt in Fairy Tale.
