I always wear a bra out of the house! Seems trashy otherwise. Sorry, just my honest opinion! But we live in a “free” country so do as you please

Choose freedom, not the status quo. Do what is right in your own eyes, and not worry about what others think.

Actually, a few years ago I had a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction so it is kind of a moot point now (reconstructions don't sag), but I still wear a bra for nipple coverage. I had a nipple-sparing mastectomy and I think they are more visible now than ever.

And frankly, no one over the age of 30 has a "perky" chest no matter how small they are.
TMI, here: I'm forty-one and mine are still quite "perky." No sagging in the least, although I do generally wear a bra to prevent chafing and nipple exposure. Good genetics, being very physically active with a decent amount of upper body-type activities that help build the underlying chest muscles, and having never gained or lost significant amounts of weight over the years likely helps with this. My seventy-four-year-old mother is still in relatively good form despite her age and having had three pregnancies as are my older sister's. The women in our family also tend to develop our rather small breasts relatively late in adolescence and have very good skin elasticity, so that likely helps to keep things up, so to speak.

I have not worn a "regular" bra in years. I wear these stretch little comfort bras. Sometimes I wear a stretch cami I found at Costco.

Maybe not "perky", but the density of breast tissue has a LOT to do with it. A woman in her late 40's can have awesome natural DD breasts that hardly sag at all without a bra. Ask me how I know

And then there are women with very little density, which tend to flop around when they're large.

Haha - speak for yourself! When I started getting mammograms in my 40's the technician said I had very dense breasts and I said "Sure...now" and she said I'd always be perky. Maybe she just wanted to go out with me but 15 years later I still easily pass the pencil test - but hey, I'm only a B.

I always wear a bra. Even when I’m sleeping.

This is me, too.

I haven't gone out in public without a bra otherwise since I was 10, and was the first girl in my class to need one.

A bra is necessary for me since two pregnancies and breastfeeding. Pre-pregnancy/nursing, I was a C cup, post, a DD to DDD depending on the manufacturer. Pregnancy and breastfeeding totally changed my breasts.

But, I was pretty late to develop. By seventh grade, I wasn't a B cup yet, and even though I had bras, I rarely wore them because I found them annoying. Then, one day in art class, a sketchy 8th grader who was actually almost 16 was roaming around the room before class started, snapping bras (this was about 1990, good luck doubt this now and not getting smacked with sexually inappropriate, harassing, and assault type behavior). When he tried to snap mine, he bellowed, "WHOAH, SHE ISN'T WEARING ONE!!!" Again, would not fly now.
