Faith Hill is hot. Evidently, not hot enough to not require a bit o' photoshop.
Why do you think women's magazines do this?
It's part of the sell isn't it? Just consider for a moment the perfection of these photoshopped pictures and how it feeds into the psyche of a consumer society.
A photoshopped Faith Hill, perfectly pictured, makes women feel disatisfied with themselves because women compare and that my friend, SELLS! It sells creams, it sells plastic surgery, it sells make up, clothing, hair treatments, gym memberships, it sells magazines, it sells all kinds of things to imperfect people seeking the same kind of illusionary perfection. Perfect one dimensional pictures that have no bearing on a person's inner beauty.
They ALL do it! To make a "perfect" picture--even tho there's no such thing in real life!
Exactly what you said. To make the picture more "perfect". It's a disgrace. I'd like for them to show the women what they really look like and not this phony stuff that we see that makes a lot of women get unnecessary surgery and stuff. (it's called airbrushing).
Wow. I just e-mailed that link to every woman in my address book! To think that even Faith Hill isn't perfect just the way she is??? That's crazy. No wonder so few women have any self-esteem to speak of!
